Studio Conover bought out the Ken Cinema in San Diego for a midnight showing of Michael Moore's new movie, "Slacker Uprising", which is available for free download online(www.slackeruprising.com). Mr. Moore's direction to the public was to try to bring his movie to the masses in any way they see fit. The main premise behind the documentary was to try to get the young generation(the slacker generation) off their butts and get out and vote. With the new election on the horizon, Conover felt it was an important message to get behind. So we created a movie poster around this message, as well as flyers, t-shirts and advertisements. The poster was hand-drawn as to give the impression that a slacker drew it up at the last minute. The assprint on the empty couch shows where the young slacker got off his ass to go vote.
